The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection: French Polynesia, Seen from the Sea

There are places that seem made to be approached by water. French Polynesia is one of them. Volcanic peaks rise from turquoise lagoons, palm-fringed motus trace the horizon, and the scent of tropical flowers drifts through the warm Pacific air.
In early 2027, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Evrima will spend the season sailing roundtrip from Papeete, Tahiti, on seven-night voyages through the Society Islands. With just 149 suites, the superyacht offers an intimate way to move between islands, allowing the landscape and the sea to become as much a part of the experience as the destinations themselves.
Island by Island
The journey brings together Taha‘a, Huahine, Raiatea, Bora Bora, and Mo‘orea, each revealing a different side of French Polynesia.
On Taha‘a, days slow amid pristine beaches and an island known for the scent of vanilla. Huahine offers crystalline lagoons made for paddleboarding, while Raiatea’s lush landscape is home to the rare tiare apetahi flower, found only on Mount Temehani.
Then there is Bora Bora, where Evrima stays overnight. With Mount Otemanu rising above the lagoon, there is time to experience the island beyond a single afternoon and watch the changing light transform its most iconic landscape. The voyage continues to Mo‘orea, where dramatic peaks and panoramic views from Belvedere Lookout provide a fitting final chapter before returning to Papeete.
The Luxury of Time
Part of the pleasure is simply having time to explore. Late departures allow days ashore to stretch into evening, while select stops include opportunities to access the water directly from Evrima’s Marina for kayaking, paddleboarding, and other watersports.
Between islands, the pace remains wonderfully unhurried. Every suite has a private ocean-view terrace, and open-air decks create plenty of space to watch French Polynesia unfold from the water.
Here, the voyage is not simply a way to reach the next island. It is part of the experience itself, with each day offering a new lagoon, a new landscape, and another reason to linger a little longer.
Guests of Huffman Travel may enjoy additional onboard credit, depending on the sailing when cruising with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
