The snorkeling excursion continues from the reef to a deserted beach, pairing time underwater with an afternoon on the sea.
For those who would rather learn to captain than simply cruise, the resort also has a sailing academy. Beginners can learn aboard Hobie catamarans, while the ASA 110 program combines sailing terminology, weather and oceanography, boat operations, and safety skills, culminating in an accredited ASA 110 certificate for successful participants.
Back on Grace Bay, snorkeling gear, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for exploring the waters around Princess Alexandra National Park.
There is still plenty of room for doing very little. Long beach walks, leisurely meals, and afternoons beside the water remain part of the appeal.
