Kasbah Tamadot. When you walk through the doors of Sir Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot, in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, you feel like you are stepping into an enchanted world. Each room, suite, and luxurious Berber tent is uniquely decorated with Moroccan treasures, and there is something beautiful and interesting to see everywhere you look. Definitely schedule a Hamman treatment and hike to visit the Berber villages; however, you must allow at least one day at leisure to relax on a pouf in one of the little tents scattered throughout the garden to fully absorb the magic.

J.K. Place Firenze. Staying at J.K. Place Firenze is like staying in a super chic home, but after just one day, the gracious staff makes you feel like it’s your super chic home! I adore the J.K. Lounge and its relaxed dining experience. You choose which comfy white club chair or loveseat you’d like to sit in, and they will set a table before you. I still dream of my spaghetti with truffles by the fire… Bonus: portable wifi hotspots and the J.K. Essential Guide, loaded with Florence’s hidden gems, are given to guests upon check-in.

Montage Laguna Beach is the perfect U.S. escape. It exudes a relaxed luxury and is one of the few hotels that boasts ocean views from every room – they are some of the best views in the country. Perched on a cliff near charming Laguna Beach’s shops and restaurants, it’s perfect for couples’ and girls’ trips, while the residences and numerous activities make it also ideal for families. Insider tip: order the nachos at the pool!

The Brando. As an avid beach lover, you can only imagine that The Brando would be at the top of my list for best of the best. Secluded oceanfront beach villas with stunning design, impeccable service, tantalizing food, and the best staff in the South Pacific. This private island is the epitome of ultra-luxury, one that dreams are made of. GO...enjoy the spectacular oasis that Marlon Brando protected for all the world to behold.

Belmond Cap Juluca. This iconic Anguilla beach property has been around forever but only recently has it been stylishly reborn! Belmond recently took over the property and gave it its new ambiance, artfully decorated rooms and suites, stellar service, tasty food…resting on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Belmond Cap Juluca is a true oasis for ocean and beach lovers, honeymooners, and anyone in need of sun!

Kokomo Private Island. Having been to the Fiji islands twice and experienced many resorts and private islands, there is one that left me dreaming for more: Kokomo Island is truly magical in all senses. Kokomo has breathtaking oceanfront villas and private estates, a vibrant culinary scene, and a charming wine sommelier that will cater to your every need. Water sports heaven awaits you here, with world-class scuba diving, deep-sea fishing with a Jager as your captain, and much more. Be prepared to be spoiled. You’ll come back refreshed, relaxed, and dreaming of returning, I know I am!

LISA BAKER

Killarney Park Hotel is nestled in the city center of Killarney, Ireland, walking distance to local pubs, shops, and hikes. This remarkable, boutique spa hotel offers something for everyone and is ideally located if you are visiting the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, or even for a golf trip - there are numerous championship courses in the area. The Garden Bar is a must for malt whiskey tasting.

Dromoland Castle. What better way to end your Irish adventure than a magical stay at a royal castle? After touring for several days, you’ll enjoy simply taking the time to relax in your beautifully-appointed rooms, appreciate fine dining in an intimate setting, and engage in estate activities. Dromoland Castle is also located in close proximity to Shannon airport, used for many US flights.

Four Seasons Punta Mita. Positioned on a spectacular beach, the resort offers the finest rooms, suites, and villas in the area. One of my favorites, I love to recommend it for both families and romantic getaways. The celebrated Bahia restaurant is a must for beachside, toes-in-the-sand dining featuring grilled local fares…not to mention the stunning sunsets!
