Samantha Lanna
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Samantha’s passion for international travel was sparked at a young age by countless trips to the airport to welcome her aunts and uncle home from what once felt like a distant land—the United States. Her uncle’s motto, “Roots in Brazil, branches around the world,” planted the seed for a global perspective that would later shape her own life.
Samantha’s journey into the travel industry began at the airport itself, where she worked as a ticketing agent. On a whim, she moved to Uruguay—a country she had never visited before—where she found herself immersed in travel once again, providing software support to major airlines worldwide. After relocating to California, she spent over nine years honing her customer service expertise within her family’s business, always focused on delivering highly personalized experiences.
A devoted foodie turned culinary student, Samantha’s love for gastronomy fuels her endless search for must-try eateries—whether a buzzy hotspot or a hidden gem. A native Portuguese speaker, she picked up Spanish simply by listening to her coworkers. A visual arts enthusiast, she also taught herself to shoot analog photography with an old Canon.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys rollerblading through the California desert and practicing Pilates, always embracing new ways to explore the world around her.
